delicate delicatas ~ the bracelet you will love to wear

I LOVE this bracelet. I wanted something more delicate than a tennis bracelet but with as much sparkle. So I set out in my box of goodies and found some tiny Swarovski crystals with the aurora borealis finish on them. I used some silver wire to make some tiny connectors, topped it off with a great toggle and voila, I had the perfect bracelet.

I made sure to wear it a few times to see if the toggle was worth its weight (its a bit tiny as well) and it stayed on my wrist perfectly. Im even able to take it on and off myself, which is a plus.

I made two for sale. One in 7.25 inches and one in 7.75 inches. They can both be adjusted to the size you prefer, of course. $40.00 each.

Back to school free earring give away

Getting free things is awesome. I think we can all agree on that! Well, I think that with every necklace ordered off Etsy, a free pair of matching earrings should be thrown in. Lets kick off the school year in style!

Now, these earrings are going to be made to order. They will be standard fish hook style, with beads to match your newly purchased necklace. Voila, instant set! This makes a great gift or just keep them both for yourself!

Example of a set of earrings in a blue bead.

*value of a set of Bluma Janowitz earrings runs from 10-20 dollars. This offer is for the months of August and September only!

Crystals or gems?

There is a fine line when it comes to gems and new age crystals. Most of the time, when you are shopping for crystals, you buy them in their natural state, or polished rock form. Most people don't think to buy them as faceted gems, like the ones you find in rings and other jewelry pieces.

This is where I beg to differ! I love shiny things!!!

I want my gems to have some depth. It doesn't take away from their power as a crystal, nothing is added to their natural form, they are just made prettier.

Take the lovely pink quartz here. I have it photographed in its natural state, polished and cut in a cushion cut, ready to mount in a ring or pendant (or set on your altar). It is a pretty stone in all three states, but there is something about it when it is all said and done. I love it when it sparkles.

Or these Amethyst samples....

And last, these pretty finished Carnelian pieces, one polished and one faceted.

Custom work

One of my favorite things are custom jobs. Why? Because I'm making something special for someone out of something that already meant something to them. A good example is that pile of broken necklaces with special pendants at the bottom of your jewelry box. Maybe you meant to get them fixed, but didn't get around to it. Either way, they sit, unworn.

These things can be transformed into a special necklace you adore. With a quick consultation, and the pendant or charm, I will go to work..designing that perfect piece that you will love to wear.

Here are some of my custom jobs:

Before, butterfly wing pendant.

After, with necklace.

Or, in the case of a mother and daughter who share the birth month of June, I made a set of necklaces out of a pair of Moonstone earrings. Moonstone is one of Junes birthstones.

Before, a pair of Tibetan silver earrings

After, a set of necklaces made in daughter and moms own style.

Here are some more examples or my work:

So, there is no reason to not wear that pendant or charm. If you love it but don't want it on a chain...let's talk!
